Regenda named in top 50 Best Companies
Regenda has been named as one of the Best Companies to work for in the UK.
The group entered the prestigious Sunday Times list for the first time this year – at number 37 in the Not for Profit category.
The annual list is published following extensive workplace surveys, looking at key issues such as leadership, wellbeing and personal growth.
Around 240,000 employees were interviewed for this year’s survey, drawn from almost 900 organisations from across the UK.
The team at Regenda, which offers more than 13,000 homes for sale and rent across the region, was delighted to be recognised as a Top 50 employer.
Tracey Wilson, Regenda’s Executive Director of Business Improvement, said: “We are delighted with this result – not only making it onto the list for the first time, but at number 37. Our staff are integral to the growth and success of our organisation and the work we are doing, and seeing their positive views about Regenda as a place to work shows that we are on the right track. This year, we used the Best Companies criteria as a true workplace engagement tool, helping us to find out more about the aspirations and ambitions of our staff.”
As a direct result of previous Best Companies feedback, Regenda developed a series of responses to tackle areas highlighted by the workforce. They included:
• Involving the Human Resources team in events at the group’s sheltered schemes, in response to their request to have more contact with residents
• A new flexible working pattern being piloted by call centre staff
• The introduction of Long Service Awards
