SPIRAL HOUSE AND THUMBSTAR TO ATTEND GAMESCOM IN COLOGNE THIS WEEK

Two of Liverpool Innovation Park’s tenants will be heading off to Cologne, Germany this week for GamesCom, the world’s largest trade fair and event highlight for interactive games and entertainment.

Spiral House will be demonstrating PlayStation®Vita Pets, a game that it has developed for Sony. The fully fledged game will be on general release in 2014 but Spiral House will be showcasing its demo at the exhibition.

Thumbstar will also be exhibiting at GamesCom, the company signed a deal with China Telecom and software company Viva Red to start releasing its games in China. Thumbstar is looking at new games to release in China from August and is attending GamesCom to build on its relationships with industry professionals as well as to develop new opportunities.
