Liverpool Innovation Park expands digital hub with new lettings
Liverpool Innovation Park (LIP) has strengthened its presence as a leading digital hub in Liverpool with the arrival of two new businesses, BMK Digital and Cyberfrog Design. While long standing occupier e-blueprint digital, which has been at LIP for seven years, has taken 50% more space at the Park.
BMK Digital, an independent digital and internet consultancy designed to help companies make the most of their online investments, has taken 239 sq ft at the Park. The company has relocated to LIP from its city centre office at Liverpool Corn Exchange. Cyberfrog Design, a web design company which offers front-end development services and web hosting among its many services has taken a 101 sq ft start up unit at LIP.
Barry Kilby, managing director at BMK Digital, said: “We are delighted to move to LIP, it is an excellent location for an SME in the digital sector due the number of likeminded businesses that are already on site. The flexible office space at LIP was key to our decision to relocate as it will benefit us in the future as we continue to expand.”
Nick Taylor, digital managing director at e-blueprint digital, said: “e-blueprint digital is a long standing tenant at LIP and we are very pleased that LIP has the ability to accommodate our continued growth within the campus. Since arriving in 2007, we have outgrown three offices but LIP has always been able to find suitably sized accommodation to meet our business requirements. Investment in the infrastructure and the increasing number of new businesses moving to LIP continues to encourage us to stay. LIP is fast becoming the defacto digital hub in Liverpool and the clustering of businesses here supports our development.”
Delyth Lloyd, innovation manager at LIP, said “It is always encouraging to see the digital sector continue to grow, something which is evident here at the Innovation Park.
Our flexible approach to leases allows SMEs to move in quickly, taking advantage of key services such as superfast broadband and support in helping recruit staff, which is in turn allowing them to grow their businesses.”
