LIP contractors invest in the site
Here at the Liverpool Innovation Park we have always enjoyed our surroundings but now we have been given even more reason to take pride in them.
Visitors to the Park will now be met by the sight of our very own labyrinth and herb garden, all thanks to the diligent works of friends of the park.
In total Roy Davis from Nurture Landscaping has given over 200 hours of his own time including planning and designing the new addition to our outdoor space. Helped along the way by Paul McGunigall from Anchor Security and Andrew Lancaster from AML they have created something truly unique. This included donating materials from top soil to herbs, hiring a mechanical turf cutter and removing 9 tonnes of site waste. The herb garden also utilises railway sleepers which have been salvaged from elsewhere on the site.
The grand opening was celebrated with the cutting of a ribbon by Lois McGunigall, age 9, who had also donated her time in nurturing and planting herbs.
The garden already looks splendid and over time it will only improve as the plants grow and others are added. We are sure you’ll all agree it is a superb creation by Roy, LIP’s Head Gardener, for all our tenants and visitors to enjoy.
