Liverpool Innovation Park is crucial to the continued growth of Liverpool's Knowledge economy.
Data Performance Consultancy Recruits Talent via Graduate to Merseyside Programme
“Every business owner should consider using Graduate to Merseyside – and it’s free so why wouldn’t you?” said Founder & Managing Director, Brian Bishop.
Brian Rea was the fourth person to be interviewed by Data Performance Consultancy Ltd (DPC) for an IT Projects Manager post - and at this point Managing Director, Mr Brian Bishop realised he need look no further, stating:
“Brian ticked every box. He brought a huge amount of practical and theoretical experience from his university course and prior work experience and immediately took on full project management responsibility for our systems development. In fact, he was that good we offered him shares in the company.” He adds: “He’s taken everything that was in my head and turned it into practical reality, developing a full systems specification and web platform and now moving us through the necessary legal requirements.”
Day-to-day, Brian deals with all project software and liaises with other software developers, ensuring the company is compliant with regulations. Mr Bishop is convinced that without him the business wouldn’t have developed the way it has – with clients now including the NHS, facilities management companies and a number of universities.
"It's great to see LIP's knowledge-based tenants benefitting from the high calibre graduate talent produced by Liverpool's nearby universities," said LIP Innovation Manager, Mark Tock.
DPC was founded by serial entrepreneur Brian Bishop who opened the company’s first office at Wavertree Tech Park in 2010. DPC’s software & system offers its clients a full-service asset management suite, bringing together facilities and contractor teams to improve performance and add value at every stage of an asset's lifetime.
