Summary

The severe weather event last winter was the worst in the last thirty years and caused widespread major disruption across the UK.

Many businesses can be affected by the consequences of adverse weather. On any one day it can mean: reduced staff availability due to canelled public services and highway closure; childcare issues caused by school closures; and reduced workplace access.

LBCMF have devotedthe next session to 23rd September to offering advise to businesses of what is being done to mitigate the effects and information on what businesses can do to help themselves.
