Tenant networking

Tenant intranet and tenant zone

The LIP intranet and tenant zone provide remote 24-7 access to the Park’s innovation community via a user notice board which allows tenants to communicate with each other about events, job vacancies, community specific offers, and other issues tenants wish to discuss.

The intranet also serves as a mechanism for reporting faults to the site management team, booking meeting rooms, and accessing catering services.

Last Thursday Business Clinics

On the last Thursday of every month, LIP hosts a drop-in clinic so that tenants can call in to access to trusted business support from professionals from the public and private sectors. From April 2010, the clinic offers access to advice in the following areas:

• Exporting goods and services (UK Trade and Investment NW)
• Innovation and general business support (Business Link NW)
• Protecting your intellectual property (W.P. Thompson and MFL Insurance Brokers)
• Accessing academic expertise (University of Liverpool, and Liverpool John Moores University)
• Recruiting the right team (Knowlsey College)
• IT advice (360 Degrees IT)
• Safeguarding stored data (AIMES Grid Services)
• Payroll services (Quill Pinpoint)
• Effective e-marketing (sdesign1 Ltd and e-blueprint)
• Business development (Escata)

The clinic also serves as a drop-in session with the Park’s Innovation Manager, Mark Tock.

Email us to book an appointment with a specific advsier, or call in for a coffee on the day.

LIP Drop-in Sessions

The LIP management team regularly hold drop-in sessions where tenants can come along to informally discuss issues over a cup of coffee. Email us for details or check our events calendar for dates.

Parklife Programme

In partnership with representatives from tenant companies, LIP organises and hosts a programme of social events which includes for example: a Christmas Lights Party and Fair, pub quiz, race nights, public art previews and a 5-aside football competition.

The LIP community is justly proud that, as well as being fun, many of its events raise funds for our charity of the year which currently is The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
